The Vermont Italian Cultural Association is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission of discussing, learning, sharing and celebrating the cultural heritage of Italy and Italian-Americans. Our organization brings to the Vermont community educational and other events and activities that foster an intimacy with Italy through the people who love her. Whether through travel to Italy, the study of the Italian language, or through the love of Italian film, art , literature, opera, or food/cooking, the members share their experiences through a variety of activities.
The organization was established in the fall of 1983 as the Vermont Italian Cultural Association by a group of Italian Americans, newcomers to Burlington, Vermont, where the organization is centered.
