Opera - Live-at-the-Met in South Burlington and in Montreal
During opera season, VIC often sponsors opera ticket purchases for Live-at-theMet in HD with a meal following. These have been held at the Palace 9 in So. Burlington with dinner at Buono Appetito in Shelburne. Members can obtain tickets online at this site when VIC has purchased a block of tickets in advance of a particular opera.
On our February 16, 2013 excurson to Live-at-the-Met we enjoyed Rigoletto set in Las Vegas in the 1960s.
From time to time, VIC has also organized and sponsored a bus trip to live Italian opera at Montreal's Place des Arts followed by a meal in a restaurant in 'Old Montreal.'
