Amici Luncheons pranzi d'amici
A convivial group of VICA members and friends meet for lunch on the third Thursday of each month in a local restaurant to enjoy friendly chatter, often about our Italian heritage and our travels, and very often over a glass of good Italian wine. Week-end luncheons or brunches are scheduled from time-to-time for those who work during the week. Special speakers are often part of the gatherings and special holidays are acknowledged, such as Epifania. In recent years Epifania was celebrated at various local Italian restaurants such as La Villa Bistro, Pizzeria Verità, and Pulchinella's.

June 2013

The June Amici luncheon was held at the Lakeview House and was well attended and enjoyed by all.
April 2013

The April Amici luncheon was at the Lighthouse Restaurant. Three amici, Ed and Matt Granai and David Usher, look like they have a serious conversation going on!
May 2012

In May, the Amici luncheon was held at Junior's restaurant in Colchester with plenty of food and lively conversation. Everyone is looking at the camera for a change. It's so hard to get Italians and friends focused on the camera when the conversation with friends is bubbling.
April 2012

The Amici met at the Windjammer on one of Vermont's beautiful weather days of Spring (April 19, 2012). The sun-drenched back room added to the relaxation of the light-hearted conversation of the amici (friends). If you look carefully, however, you will see that Peggy (for those of you who know her!) might still be pretending she is incognito as Epifania's La Befana (the old witch) as she makes fun at the camera!
February 2012

The Amici met for lunch In February 2012 at the Silver Palace restaurant in South Burlington. In addition to the scrumptious Chinese fare of the menu, some of the best fried calamari in town can be had... and you know Italians and their calamari! A good glass of wine, a little chiacchierio (chatter), a lot of good laughs, and "a good time was had by all!"
The group met at the Rotisserie restaurant in South Burlington in March 2012 to celebrate St. Patrick's "Italian connection" and the Irish specialties of the day.
